Welcome to Grillen, Älmhult’s new living room. Where it’s barbecue season every day of the week, all year round. At Grillen we take ideas from cuisines around the world, make them surprisingly local and put most of it on the grill. Grillen also features a hot dog bar, Korvbaren, where we push the boundaries of the iconic IKEA hot dog. After all, what is a hot dog? Well, here with us it’s a flexible concept. Come and try us out!

80s and 90s evening at Grillen
Step back into the rhythm of the 80s and 90s with an evening at Grillen 25/9. From 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, enjoy a lively atmosphere that blends food, great company, and tunes that take you back. We’ll serve a buffet, the bar will serve drinks, and DJ Lange will keep the vibe alive with classics all evening.
Come dressed in your favorite 80s or 90s outfit and make the evening even more festive! No reservations needed, simply come as you are and join the fun.

Halloween October 30
Welcome to a spooktacular evening at Grillen, filled with great food, good music, and a hauntingly good atmosphere. Feel free to put on your favorite costume and join in the Halloween fun! No table reservations, drop-in only for this event. Children up to 12 years old enjoy the buffet at half price.

Julbord ala Grillen
Welcome to enjoy a traditional Christmas buffet with Grillen’s own special touch! During weeks 48, 49 and 50, we will be serving a generous buffet filled with festive favourites, Grillen’s homemade pickled herring, autumn preserves, and of course isterband sausages and cheesecake (ostkaka) – true Småland classics.
The Christmas buffet is served Thursday–Saturday with two seatings: 17:00–19:30 and 19:30 until closing. Please note that our regular menu and children’s menu will not be available during this period.

Children from 5 years old up to 12 years old dine at half price.
