Welcome to our home!

At IKEA Hotell, we always do our best to make you feel at home. The beds are freshly made with soft sheets, and the bright rooms are decorated in cheerful colours and lovely patterns. All from IKEA, of course. There are several different types of rooms to choose from: double rooms, family rooms, the slightly larger accessible rooms, and our small yet space-efficient cabin rooms. Children up to 12 stay free of charge, and if you’re travelling with a baby or toddler up to 2 years, you can request a cot. The hotel has two living rooms for you to relax in, and one of them has a small play area. Breakfast is always included and is served at Grillen restaurant across the street. If you get hungry in the middle of the night, there’s a vending machine on Level 2. There’s also a laundry room, a gym and sauna. Need more time? Late check-out at 15:00 is available for a fee. And don’t forget, admission to IKEA Museum is included with your stay.

Double room

Bright and cosy 18 m2 double, comfy 160 cm wide bed, for 1–2 adults and 1 child up to 12 years.

The cabin room is the smallest room in the hotel, 4–6 m2 for one person.

Need space for the whole family? Check out our practical 18 m2 rooms for up to 4 people. Children up to 12 years stay free of charge.

Accessible Room

Need a little extra support during your stay? Book the 26 m2 accessible room with more space and an adapted bathroom. Room for 1–4 people with a pram, wheelchair or walker. Children up to 12 years stay free of charge.

A home away from home

At IKEA Hotell, we want you to feel right at home. A good night’s sleep is of course vital, but in addition to bed and breakfast we provide some other home comforts too. The hotel has two living rooms, one of which has a small play area. Play, read, relax, use the fridge, freezer and microwave – basically, make yourself at home. There’s a laundry room with two washing machines, detergent and two tumble dryers, an ironing board and iron. The hotel also has a gym, and there’s a sauna in both the men’s and women’s changing rooms. Book a sauna time in reception. Both the gym and sauna are open every day 06:00–22:00. There’s a locked luggage room in reception for guests to use. If you get hungry in the middle of the night, there’s a vending machine that’s open around the clock. We also have food and water bowls if you’re travelling with a dog – just let us know and we’ll arrange it. If you fancy a little outing, feel free to borrow a bicycle. Ask at reception if you’d like some tips on what to see and do in and around Älmhult. We look forward to seeing you!

Hej to all the dogs!

Bringing a four-legged friend? Wonderful! Book one of our pet-friendly rooms adapted for guests with dogs, including food and water bowls. Pet-friendly rooms carry an extra charge, but not if you have an assistance dog. Accompanying dogs are free to roam around the hotel, but only on a lead. When you have breakfast at Grillen, your dog will have to remain safely in your room, although this obviously doesn’t apply to assistance dogs.
