Information for arriving guests, summer 2026

We want to inform visiting guests that construction will take place on weekdays, which will increase noise levels during the summer. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we will offer earplugs to all our guests. This is part of the hotel renovation, which is due to be completed in 2028.

Room for everyone

How would you like to stay at IKEA Hotell? There are double rooms, family rooms for four, and single cabin rooms. If you need a bit of extra support we have accessible rooms, and if your dog is with you we have pet-friendly rooms. Everyone is welcome!

A glorious future, we are updating!

IKEA Hotell has been around for over 60 years, and it's a place where Älmhult locals and visitors alike can feel at home. But to meet the needs of the future, we have to do a bit of remodelling and renovation. We expect to be finished by autumn 2028. Once it's all done, there will be almost 300 hotel rooms, a new kitchen, a new restaurant, and new meeting-places both inside and out. And guess what? There'll also be a swimming pool!
